Compensation: 75$ for 1 hour work. if extra time is needed it is paid at 30$/hour

Synopsis:
“Rain – Stories of the city” needs actors for very short scenes for an Augmented Reality App telling stories of Vancouver with 3D Scanned Characters. There are different scenes, each capturing a snapshot of life of the city of Vancouver. Each scene includes 1 to 2 protagonists. For actors interested in working as part of a Visual Art Project for display in an art gallery.
Overview of Scenes: The scenes depict 2 characters interacting while walking or standing together in the street and they are shot inside- 2 men discussion, man and woman coming out of a building. Actors will recorded voicing 2 or 3 lines of dialogue and hold a still pose for the scene captured in a full body 3D scan.

Process for the actors:
1 Each actor holds a still pose for the creation of a photorealistic 3D Scan. Scan is done by moving the camera around the person for a very me 2-3 minutes
2 Actors will also record 2 or 3 lines of dialogue- about 1 minute dialogue
Actors will need to hold the pose and facial expression for about 1 to 2 minutes while the photographer moves around them with a 3d scanner.

Female character 20- 30 years old
Female character 30 to 50 years old
Male character. 20 - 40 years old
Wardrobe: Casual everyday outdoor city attire, actors can wear their own clothes and wear a light coat or rain jacket. details will be provided for each shoot
